It's the Relationship!!

Have you ever heard someone say, I don’t want to listen to the “all-blessing” gospel?  I’m just fed up with people saying come to Jesus He will heal you, you’ll receive a miracle, you’ll get the financial miracle.  Well, just this week I heard this from a sister during my conversation with her.  This person is a believer in Christ.  She has a deep longing and yearning to know what exactly Jesus did by dying on the cross.

This made me think deeply and intently.  Well, I am not a person who has diluted the Gospel and by God’s immense and sustaining Grace and Power will never do it.  God gave me this vision and burden -“to empower lives for a closer walk with God,” primarily focusing on the relationship with God rather than just the blessing of God.

When we minister to people, there are different kinds of audiences.  Some people look for solutions to life’s problems such as healing, finance, the blessings in life, etc.  Some look for solutions to their emotional and spiritual needs.  No matter what the need is, the only solution is God.  In Him and through Him all things are satisfied and made complete.

When Jesus was preaching the Kingdom of God on this planet, there were different kinds of people around Him.  Some came for healing, some for deliverance, some for other kinds of miracles, and some for hearing His sensational speech and His teachings, which were eye-opening and liberating.  Some were His close followers who had renounced their worldly work and occupations to be with Jesus. Some were fault-finders, always looking for ways to trap Jesus and put an end to Him.

Jesus after His 40 days of fasting began His preaching saying“Change your mind (repent), turn to God for the Kingdom of God has arrived” Matthew 4:17 (paraphrased).  Those who changed their minds and followed Jesus closely became His disciples.  In the four Gospels of the New Testament, we see that Jesus did not share everything with everyone in all situations.  He shared the parables with all but expounded the deeper meanings with His disciples and answered all their questions to bring clarity to their minds.  Many of His teachings were not openly expounded to all.  He shared them exclusively with His disciples.  For example,
Luke 17
20 Asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He replied to them by saying, The kingdom of God does not come with signs to be observed or with visible display,
21 Nor will people say, Look! Here [it is]! or, See, [it is] there! For behold, the kingdom of God is within you [in your hearts] and among you [surrounding you].
22 And He said to the disciples, The time is coming when you will long to see [even] one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see [it].

He shares very little with the others, but He takes pain to explain the whole matter and reveal the hidden with His disciples starting from Verses 22 through to 37.

Jesus gave the commission or the authority granted for a particular action or function to His disciples who were His close followers and who were with Him during His 3-1/2 years of ministry on earth.  He says “All authority (all power of rule) in heaven and earth has been given to me.  So my well-trained close followers go and make others also close followers of me like yourself by teaching them God’s Kingdom and God’s Kingdom Principles.
Matthew 28: 16- 20 (Amp)
16 Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed and made an appointment with them.
17 And when they saw Him, they fell down and worshiped Him; but some doubted.
18 Jesus approached and, breaking the silence, said to them, All authority (all power of rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.
19 Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 Teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation of the age. Amen (so let it be).

Therefore, as the Ambassadors of His Kingdom, we need to have a living, active, and growing relationship with our King, growing in the knowledge of Him and His Kingdom. The Lord God reveals Himself in our daily walk with Him through His Word and through our situations and circumstances.  So, shall we walk in the progressive revelation that comes through the ever-growing and progressive relationship with the Lord and King Jesus Christ?

Hope this post has been a blessing to you.  What motivates you to come to Jesus daily? Please feel free to share.

Prophetic Voice: Refrain from Domestic Violence and Abuse

God has been reiterating this for the past whole week, and for some reason, I hesitated to post it. But since I confirmed it through another Sister I am ministering to, I am sharing this warning message.
I would like to share the heart of God through one incident that truly happened in the life of a very great Man of God who was used mightily by God to many thousands of people.  The Lord has even used him to raise the dead and many thousands were delivered from the clutches of the enemy.  The point here is he was truly a mighty man of God.  All his life he was very zealous for the Lord and followed strict laws and was very strict with regards to sin. However, he treated his wife always with a commanding voice and never allowed her to take up the microphone and preach in his church.  During the latter days of his life, he started beating her.  The wife used to weep inside but never raised her voice against the man of God.  When she had to visit a sister who was sick, the husband of that sister who is an Apostle of God asked her “How are you doing Sister?” Sister said “After my husband pronounces benediction, God’s peace and love over the congregation, I pick up my handbag asking within Lord where is my peace and love. This is how my life is."  Then that Apostle of God said, “Mene, Mene, Tekel Upharsin.”  Sister, you have waited, just wait a little longer.” Upon hearing this word, that sister thought that God was going to touch her husband and set things right.  But in just 90 days that great man of God, the husband of this sister passed away due to sickness.  The Sunday before his death He came to church with the help of the aide and handed the microphone to his wife.   As she said a few words to the congregation, he got it back from her and said “May this grace continue,” and he slowly climbed down the podium and left the premises back to his house with the help of the aide. Nevertheless, before his death, he said sorry to his wife and he asked her to pray over him.  The widowed wife now leads the ministry after her husband's demise.

This incident gives us a warning about how much God hates domestic violence as much as he hates divorce.   May the Lord help us not to displease Him but love the wife just as the Lord loves the church.  Jesus, the bridegroom, left the glory of His Father’s house to seek a bride – the church - for himself undergoing all sufferings and afflictions and elevating His bride to the same glory and honor.  He has shown us an example that a husband must love his wife in such a manner.  Wife in return must be submissive to the husband just as the Bride of Christ to the Christ. May the Holy Spirit minister to us all.

p.s. This incident really shook me as well when I heard it from the concerned person and I am sharing it with the consent of the person concerned.  I said "Lord help me.  I should not cry to you but should be wise to win your favor for my loved ones so that they might know Your heart and please you."

The Waterer Shall Be Watered!!

Proverbs 11:25 (b) - “He who waters, shall himself be watered,”

This is a heart-to-heart talk and a word of encouragement for all of us who have been serving God and people in whatever aspect we have been, the Lord is encouraging us, you who watered many shall yourself be watered.

Over the many years, since small I have been serving God and helping out people as unto the Lord as per the leading and unction of the Holy Spirit.  Over the past close-to-2 years after leaving the corporate, my time, energy, money, and my resources are being devoted to praying, meditating the Word of God and doing various things in the vineyard from office desk job, designing, photo art, writing, counseling people in person and on phone, planning and coordinating ministry programs, sharing of Word on a personal level to small groups, prophetic praying for people’s healing and deliverance, personal evangelism, and to the latest of business consulting.  For the past 2 weeks, the Lord has brought one dear sister into my full concentration and focus.  I am able to see the Lord doing a deep work in this person, and building hope and faith in her.  She had been an unbeliever and idol worshipper and for the past 2 weeks she is attending church.  Besides building faith and hope, God has given me the grace to help her out to develop a business.  This I am doing it for the Lord’s sake, speaking about what Bible says about different aspects of life and how we need to build our lives based on the Word of God.  Currently, I am investing my time, energy, and the gifts the Lord has given me into her.  In the similar way or more than what I have been doing you might be doing all that you could in the vineyard.  But be encouraged today, you who water others shall be watered.  In corporate terms, time is money.  But in the actual sense, time is more precious than money, time once lost can never be bought back.  God is saying that he is taking into account of how you have been a blessing to others though people don’t give credit to it or notice it.

The wider picture of this experience of business consulting also gives me an idea that doing business consulting for women would also give me an opportunity to share gospel and bring them to Christ.  This dear sister said to me, “while approaching men for advice and counsel, we might talk and do things that are not necessary but having consultation with a lady who thinks the best for you, how confident and secure a woman can be.”

During my very little experience of almost 2 years into the so-called full-time ministry, I could see only few people who don’t expect things from people, but look only up to God.  But I have even seen the other extremes of a very zealous, anointed, apostle, servant of God who has sold all his and his wife's properties for ministry and in debts yet doing a very powerful deliverance ministry and has been such a blessing to many thousands of people for the past 30+ years.  I was so fortunate to help such a man of God to build their ministry.  A few months back, I had the opportunity to attend a ministers' meeting for a closed circle.  A very anointed servant of God from another city who has 25+ years of experience in ministry but does not have much publicity, however has traveled  72 times in the past 1 year across the globe, ministered to us.  He shared with us, the ministers, how God supplied Him, through Angels many times, giving him even up to 10 lakhs of Indian Rupees (i.e. close to $16,000 US Dollars).  Also, there is one other wonderful servant of the Lord in whose teachings and church there is not much of asking from people but the people are so blessed through his teachings that they can’t but give to this church.  Therefore, the Lord is the source and His Word is the base and faith in the Word of the Lord is the foundation of any ministry.  Faith is the operating force to bring forth the provision and the fulfillment of God’s plans and purposes in our lives.  THE WORD OF GOD IS THE SEED FOR THAT FAITH.

As a woman, I have been ministering personally to many women, praying with them, counseling, both single and the married who have personal and family issues.  Sometimes I used to wonder how I could understand all things and able to guide them correctly? Definitely, it is the Lord’s provision of wisdom and understanding.  So, similarly every provision for the Work of the Lord will be provided by the Lord himself as you rely only on Him.

Today, I want to encourage you if you are like Joseph helping people around you and those that the Lord is bringing to you in their situations and you see them delivered and set free, you see them blessed but you’ve been kind of forgotten, kind of unnoticed by people, dear friend be encouraged, there is a set time for you to be out from that prison-like situation of yours, from that captivity, into the palace, into prosperity, into freedom, into that authority where you will do whatsoever that the Spirit of the Lord wants you to do.  You will move freely in your spirit with no inhibitions whatsoever and do all things for God as He desires for you and through you.  When you are released into your God-Ordained Destiny all your giftings will be in full operation in prospering you as well as others.

Psalm 102
13 You will arise and have mercy and loving-kindness for Zion, for it is time to have pity and compassion for her; yes, the set time has come [the moment designated].
16 When the Lord builds up Zion, He will appear in His glory;
For those lives where the Lord is ruling and reigning as the King, where the perfect Will of God will surely be manifested, the Lord is saying the SET TIME has come to show favor to us, the Zion.  When the Lord builds you and me, my friend, the Lord will be greatly glorified in our lives.  You who watered many shall be watered.  This Word of God is the seed for that unshakable faith in the Lord who is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.  This also encourages us to continue in doing good, because the Word of God says in
Galatians 6: 9 “And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint.”

May the Lord bless you out of Zion, and may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life!!

Please feel free to share your thoughts and comments and your experiences in serving God.

Breakthrough - Breaking in and Breaking out

We have often heard a term called “Breakthrough” and people saying I want a breakthrough in my life.  The dictionary says that a breakthrough is a major achievement or success that permits further progress; or an act of overcoming or penetrating an obstacle or restriction; or a military offensive that penetrates an enemy's lines of defense or a productive insight or an important discovery so on and so forth.

In common terms, people indicate what they mean by breakthrough is they need something sudden or dramatic to happen for that major change in their situation. A sudden positive dramatic change in one’s life and condition can be called a breakthrough.  As believers we need breakthroughs to progress further into the purposes of God for the Glory of God and this can happen only by divine intervention. How many of you are wanting a sudden change in your personal lives, finances, health, family lives, marriages, or education? You can think of any of your condition where you eagerly desiring a divine intervention, for a sudden positive change, that will catapult you to the greater purposes of God for your lives.

Since last Sunday, the Lord introduced a new term called the Breaker Anointing that is needed for a supernatural breakthrough, for a break in and break out.  Are you understanding it? God can do a miracle just like that and He does not even need to teach a process, but what God is doing is, He is taking us into a narrow path and making us to understand the process for that move of God in our lives for a supernatural breakthrough.

You may have to go through fasting and prayer to receive the divine intervention and success. The intention of this post is to take this as a guideline to seek the Lord in fasting and prayer and receive your miracles and breakthroughs for the Glory of the Living God.

HAVE THE REVELATION OF THE BREAKER:
First God was teaching me to have the revelation of the ONE who can cause a breakthrough.  He was teaching me about the Perez, one of the twins born to Judah and Tamar, who became the first born suddenly, unexpectedly to qualify for the blessings of a first born. The name "Perez" means "breach" (from paratz, meaning "to break through").
Perez is derived from the Hebrew word – parats which means
      1. to break or burst out (from womb or enclosure)
      2. to break through or down, make a breach in
      3. to break into
      4. to break open
      5. to break up, break in pieces
      6. to break out (violently) upon
      7. to break over (limits), increase
      8. to use violence
      9. to burst open
      10. to spread, distribute
      11. to be broken down
      12. to break away.

Genesis 38
27 Now it came to pass, at the time for giving birth, that behold, twins were in her womb. 28 And so it was, when she was giving birth, that the one put out his hand; and the midwife took a scarlet thread and bound it on his hand, saying, “This one came out first.” 29 Then it happened, as he drew back his hand,  that his brother came out unexpectedly; and she said, “How did you break through? This breach be upon you!” Therefore his name was called Perez. 30 Afterward his brother came out who had the scarlet thread on his hand. And his name was called Zerah.

The sons of Perez were valiant men as recorded in the book of Nehemiah 11:6.  Boaz and Ruth were blessed by the people around to be blessed as the family of Perez (Ruth 4:12-22).

Bible also indicates that Jesus Christ later came in the family of King David who was born to Jesse, the son of Boaz.  God was pointing to me the aspect of Jesus Christ being the Breaker.  Bible says in Micah 2:13
13 The one who breaks open will come up before them;
They will break out,
Pass through the gate,
And go out by it;
Their king will pass before them,
With the Lord at their head.”

Jesus Christ, the King of Glory, will go before us breaking the obstacles and barriers, leading us through into victory.

BREAKING THROUGH THE OBSTACLES TO RELEASE THE REVELATORY TRUTH:
The Lord wants to deal with us internally to break through our outward circumstances.  He wants to break in within us to cause break out in the external.  In order to get a word of revelation for your situation for instance for your finances, ministry, or marriage or the child your praying to have, break every obstacles like sin, satan, enemies of God, or obstacles that the Holy Spirit is pointing out.  Sit in the presence of God to show you what are the obstacles and ask Jesus, the Breaker, to break all the obstacles that are obstructing the revelatory TRUTH to be revealed to you.  Ask the Lord to soften your heart to receive the revelation.  Your natural thinking or mind is an obstacle to the revelatory truth.  Your experience is an obstacle that can hinder the revelatory truth.  We have to break out of our small-mindedness and enter into the mind of God. The word of revelation is the key with which you can break through in your prayers and it will happen in the natural.
For example let me show an incidence from the life of David:
I Chronicles 14
Now when the Philistines heard that David had been anointed king over all Israel, all the Philistines went up to search for David. And David heard of it and went out against them. Then the Philistines went and made a raid on the Valley of Rephaim. 10 And David inquired of God, saying, “Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will You deliver them into my hand?”
The Lord said to him, “Go up, for I will deliver them into your hand.”
11 So they went up to Baal Perazim, and David defeated them there. Then David said, “God has broken through my enemies by my hand like a breakthrough of water.” Therefore they called the name of that place Baal Perazim.[e] 12 And when they left their gods there, David gave a commandment, and they were burned with fire.
13 Then the Philistines once again made a raid on the valley. 14 Therefore David inquired again of God, and God said to him, “You shall not go up after them; circle around them, and come upon them in front of the mulberry trees. 15 And it shall be, when you hear a sound of marching in the tops of the mulberry trees, then you shall go out to battle, for God has gone out before you to strike the camp of the Philistines.” 16 So David did as God commanded him, and they drove back the army of the Philistines from Gibeon as far as Gezer. 17 Then the fame of David went out into all lands, and the Lord brought the fear of him upon all nations.

When it was revealed that the David was anointed to be the King of Israel the Philistines came against David to kill him, to kill the future king of Israel.  So, David had to go up against the Philistines after enquiring the Lord and asking His permission and instruction for that battle.  The Lord says that He will give David the victory and that the Philistines will be defeated.  David calls that place as Baal Perazim saying “God has broken through my enemies by my hand like a breakthrough of water.”  Then, again the Philistines are coming up against David and his army.  Again, David inquires the Lord as what to do in this battle.  The Lord is giving specific revelation as to the strategy that David has to adopt.  The Lord is asking David not to go straight, but circle around the Philistines and come upon them in front of the mulberry trees.  David will hear the marching sound in the tops of the mulberry trees, then David will have to go out to battle against the Philistines knowing that the Lord has gone ahead of him against the Philistines.   The Lord is teaching David a strategy, to circle around the camp, to come in front of them in front of the mulberry trees.  The marching sound at the tops of the mulberry trees denotes that the heavenly armies of the Lord is marching and going in front of the army of David.  David has to just follow the heavenly army and inherit the victory.  What is required of David is the circumcised, spiritual ears that are attentive and sensitive to the move of God.  His ears are to be so cleansed and purified and not contaminated to hear the marching sound of the armies of God. If we do not have the required holiness in our lives we may not decipher the move of God and we can never be effective in the Hand of God as the Lord wants us to be. Remove every obstacle like distractions, experience, uncleanness, sin, spiritual compromise, lack of integrity, every form of pride, impatience, lack of wisdom, disobedience, past success, etc., for the revelatory truth to be released for that breakthrough.

UPON RECEIVING THE REVELATION OPERATE IN THE ANOINTING OF THE BREAKER:
Now, you have received the key or the revelatory truth for that breakthrough you want.  What you need is the anointing to decree and declare that breakthrough in your life with the key, the revelatory truth, you have received.  The anointing is precious, priceless, and it requires everything.  God wants to break you free to put that anointing in you.  We have seen that one of the characters of Jesus Christ is to break through.  He is the Breaker.  When you and I are anointed by the Spirit of the one who breaks through, we can operate with the anointing and authority of the Breaker.

Just want to share what the Lord has been teaching me in regards to the word perez and operating in the Breaker Anointing from the following passage:
II Samuel 6th chapter we see the following incidence.
So they set the ark of God on a new cart, and brought it out of the house of Abinadab, which was on the hill; and Uzzah and Ahio, the sons of Abinadab, drove the new cart.[b] And they brought it out of the house of Abinadab, which was on the hill, accompanying the ark of God; and Ahio went before the ark. Then David and all the house of Israel played music before the Lord on all kinds of instruments of fir wood, on harps, on stringed instruments, on tambourines, on sistrums, and on cymbals.
And when they came to Nachon’s threshing floor, Uzzah put out his hand to the ark of God and took hold of it, for the oxen stumbled. Then the anger of the Lord was aroused against Uzzah, and God struck him there for his error; and he died there by the ark of God. And David became angry because of the Lord’s outbreak against Uzzah; and he called the name of the place Perez Uzzah to this day.
David was afraid of the Lord that day; and he said, “How can the ark of the Lord come to me?” 10 So David would not move the ark of the Lord with him into the City of David; but David took it aside into the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite. 11 The ark of the Lord remained in the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite three months. And the Lord blessed Obed-Edom and all his household.
12 Now it was told King David, saying, “The Lord has blessed the house of Obed-Edom and all that belongs to him, because of the ark of God.” So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed-Edom to the City of David with gladness. 13 And so it was, when those bearing the ark of the Lord had gone six paces, that he sacrificed oxen and fatted sheep. 14 Then David danced before the Lord with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod. 15 So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting and with the sound of the trumpet.
16 Now as the ark of the Lord came into the City of David, Michal, Saul’s daughter, looked through a window and saw King David leaping and whirling before the Lord; and she despised him in her heart. 17 So they brought the ark of the Lord, and set it in its place in the midst of the tabernacle that David had erected for it. Then David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the Lord. 18 And when David had finished offering burnt offerings and peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord of hosts. 19 Then he distributed among all the people, among the whole multitude of Israel, both the women and the men, to everyone a loaf of bread, a piece of meat, and a cake of raisins. So all the people departed, everyone to his house.
20 Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, “How glorious was the king of Israel today, uncovering himself today in the eyes of the maids of his servants, as one of the base fellows shamelessly uncovers himself!”
21 So David said to Michal, “It was before the Lord, who chose me instead of your father and all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the Lord, over Israel. Therefore I will play music before the Lord. 22 And I will be even more undignified than this, and will be humble in my own sight. But as for the maidservants of whom you have spoken, by them I will be held in honor.”
23 Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no children to the day of her death.

WHILE OPERATING IN THE ANOINTING KNOW THAT THE MOVE OF GOD CANNOT BE STEADIED BY HUMAN HANDS:
The passage says that the Ark of the Covenant was set in a new cart and is brought towards the City of David in a procession.  Probably, the road was not even and the oxen stumbled,  there was a man named Uzzah put forth his hand and took hold of the Ark of the Covenant.  He could have done that in the right spirit fearing that the Ark of the Covenant may fall off the cart, but the Lord’s anger rose upon Uzzah and he died there. That place was called Perez-Uzzah, the outbreak of the Lord.

What the Lord is teaching us here is that “Ark of the Covenant” is the presence or the Move of God and we cannot manipulate/handle the Move of God by our theological, philosophical, or logical reasoning or by our experience.  We should not box it up with the organizational or institutional ideas.  If attempted, it will result in spiritual death or bareness.

WHILE YOU ARE OPERATING IN THE ANOINTING, PEOPLE MAY DESPISE YOU:
David then feared and was not willing to take the Ark of the Covenant into the City of David and he wanted the Ark to be at Obed-Edom’s House.  Then David heard that the Lord blessed the household of Obed-Edom because of the Ark of the Covenant and he gained courage to take the Ark of the Covenant to the City of David.  Now with fear and trembling, offering sacrifices to the Lord, with music, dance, and worship (Ephod is a garment of worship) he was bringing the Ark of the Covenant to the City of David.   David’s wife Michal despises David because he was dancing on the streets and he was not acting in a dignified manner as a King should be.  People may talk ill of the anointing or the move of God.  Religious people will despise the move of God.

WHILE OPERATING IN THE ANOINTING DO NOT FORGET THAT INTEGRITY MATTERS MOST FOR THE PRESENCE OF GOD:
David replied his wife, “I’m dancing before my God who chose me, rather than your father and the people of your father’s house, to be the ruler of Israel. I will act even more undignified for the sake of the Lord.” David’s integrity is very much evident.  Even if people despise you, do not lose your integrity for the Lord.  YOUR ANOINTING IS HOLY, PRECIOUS, PRICELESS, AND IT REQUIRES EVERYTHING OF YOU.

GIVE DUE REVERENCE TO THE MOVE OF GOD AND THOSE WHO ARE ANOINTED:
The anointing is very dangerous also.  Michal was childless because she despised David, the anointed one, and the anointing that was upon David.  The Lord also gives us a caution here saying “Don’t mess with the anointing.”

OPERATING IN THE BREAKER ANOINTING TO BREAK IN AND BREAK OUT:
God is wanting not only to give us a breakthrough but also to be used as a vessel in His hand to bring in breakthroughs in the lives of others through the anointing that He wants to lay on us.  He wants to bring about breakthroughs in our spiritual lives, physical lives, family lives, finances, and marriages.  Also, God wants to use us to break free the lives of others who are in various bondages including sexual immorality, homosexuality, pornography, gender confusion, financial bondage, generational curses, witchcraft, and so on and so forth.

I am sure the Lord will deal with you through this message to seek the Lord with all of your heart, mind, soul, and strength, to break every obstacle that is hindering you to receive the revelatory truth, to receive that anointing to declare and decree that revelation over your life, and to receive the breakthrough for your own life to become an anointed servant to declare and decree the breakthroughs in the lives of others.

May the Lord Bless You and use you for His Glory!!

Protection in Ministry – A Discussion

I have been serving the Lord Jesus ever since my childhood ever since Jesus came into my life as the Lord and savior.  I have been doing stuff like help and prayer support for Jesus’ kingdom.  A few years after it was discovered that I have a calling for literature ministry and I started writing for Jesus.  Then I realized that I have the teaching gift, gift of expounding the Word of God.  Then I realized the prophetic gift.  Over the years, my mom and other people have always encouraged me doing all these aspects of ministry.   Since last August 2012, God has taken me into newer levels in the ministry, into healing and deliverance ministry. Ever since, people of God started cautioning me including my mom.  Of late, miracles, healings, and deliverances are starting to frequent as I minister to people.  Elder women who are happy as well as kind of cautioning me, you have to protect yourself much while you do these; You have to command the devil not to follow you as you leave the people you have ministered to; You have to pray before you enter your house after having ministered to someone with a prayer of deliverance; Yesterday one sister known to me told me that we should visit a cancer patient and pray over her and while we were discussing about the date and time of visiting that cancer patient, she also added a point, before that we have to protect ourselves otherwise we will be attacked; One more elder sister was telling me, you need more training in this, so you have to attend the training conferences and camps and then you take up such tasks from the Lord, until then don’t do it; and one other sister was saying, you need backup prayers to support you as you fight with the satan and his demons face-to-face.  On one side cautions and on the other side the openings for such a ministry.  So, I was constantly pondering over these.  Then the Spirit of the Lord directed me towards the ministry Jesus did while He was on this planet earth.

Luke 7
20 When the men had come to Him, they said, “John the Baptist has sent us to You, saying, ‘Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?’” 21 And that very hour He cured many of infirmities, afflictions, and evil spirits; and to many blind He gave sight.
22 Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things you have seen and heard: that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, the poor have the gospel preached to them. 23 And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.”

Jesus’ ministry characterized casting out demons, outstanding miracles, healing, and preaching.  That is in short, He was doing both deliverance and teaching ministry, as well as prayer and intercession ministry.  The only thing Jesus did not do was worship ministry if I am not mistaken.  We didn’t see Jesus having problem with any of these ministry avenues and He was not counterattacked by the enemy in any way.  Though many times, Pharisees and other wicked people bad mouthed Him and though they tried to kill him before the appointed time, Jesus was not affected by any of it at all.  He did not suffer any sickness or physical ailment because of healing the people with grave disease.  He did not suffer any loss after healing a demon possessed.

Therefore, my thought is if Jesus was unaffected by any sickness, it is possible that a son or a daughter of Jesus who prays over a person with diseases or demon possession can be unaffected if he or she does not give herself to lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes or the pride of life just like Jesus.  But the question is, is it possible at all times?

In my little experience I have found that the more purity and sanctity we maintain in the Lord and the more we are intertwined with Jesus, everything went smooth and perfectly fine.  If there is even a slightest loophole in my daily walk with Jesus, I was kind of attacked. But again, all things work for good to them that love God and are called according to His purposes, God turns the attack of the enemy into blessings as I seek the Lord more intently.

Another thought is that, as we continue to walk with Jesus not worrying about what gift is being manifested only concentrating on the relationship, intimacy, obedience to Lord’s Word and Will, which include the intercession prayer and spiritual warfare prayer, protection part will be taken care of by the Lord.

I am yet to discover more in this aspect and I am really eager to learn from the Lord and from the experienced hands in the ministry.

Dear ministers and servants of God, please feel free to share your experiences and expertise if you are led by the Holy Spirit. I greatly appreciate your input.  Thanks in advance.

Prophetic Voice

and there was a severe famine in Samaria. 3 And Ahab had called Obadiah, who was in charge of his house. (Now Obadiah feared the Lord greatly. 4 For so it was, while Jezebel massacred the prophets of the Lord, that Obadiah had taken one hundred prophets and hidden them, fifty to a cave, and had fed them with bread and water.) I Kings 18: 2-4

2 Kings 9: 30 - 33
30 Now when Jehu had come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it; and she put paint on her eyes and adorned her head, and looked through a window. 31 Then, as Jehu entered at the gate, she said, “Is it peace, Zimri, murderer of your master?”
32 And he looked up at the window, and said, “Who is on my side? Who?” So two or three eunuchs looked out at him. 33 Then he said, “Throw her down.” So they threw her down, and some of her blood spattered on the wall and on the horses; and he trampled her underfoot.

God has placed some prophetic people right in close proximity with the Spirit of Ahab and
Spirit of Jezebel (Spirits can be seen in both male and female, eg., Jezebel spirit can be present even in males and Ahab Spirit in females).  Though these people carry out the orders of Ahab, they are called to preserve themselves to be devoted to God and to preserve other prophets of God from the hand of Jezebel.  God is directly addressing to these Obadiahs to know their calling and to be careful not to compromise or be neutralized by Jezebel spirit.  Some prophetic people of God whom God has placed in the palace have compromised already and have become powerless eunuchs.  It is time to realize your call and be empowered to fulfill the Will of God.  May the Holy Spirit minister to you!!

but the people who know their God shall be strong and carry out great exploits. - Daniel 11:32

Trip to the Wilderness Near Mysore - A Report

Dear Brothers and Sisters:

Greetings to you in the matchless name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I’m back home after spending a week at a wilderness which is about 2-hour drive from the City of Mysore in a state called Karnataka in India.  Initially, I was told that this place was a forest, but when I went there it was a wilderness with hot days and very cold nights.  Though I assumed that the place will have a lot of shady places with trees all around, not much of a shade we can appreciate, however, as usual I was well prepared.    There were cashew nut trees planted all around and it was dry weather, hot sun, and clear skies.

The second day I was tired out of hot weather and fasting and thought I was very comfortable praying at home as I have no problem with privacy and concentration and focus, and many prayers have been heard right in the place where I kneel beside my bed and what is the need and special about coming here and praying in the hot sun, risking oneself in terms of safety from animals. The situation was like causing excessive discomfort to oneself in terms of weather, place of stay, food, etc. Nevertheless, this was a new experience as led by the Spirit of God.  I did pray for rain clouds in the skies and milder weather, the Lord did answer my prayer with rains in the evenings of days five and six.

Each person was occupying different cashew nut trees away from one another for a little privacy and crying out to Jesus mainly for spiritual blessings.  I learnt many things from different individuals especially from people of Southern most part of India.  The Spirit of the Lord anointed me with the new mantle of Fire.  Though there were many people around in the wilderness, I was able to feel the Holy Fire of God at my place when another sister was leading one other sister in Baptism of the Holy Spirit at a cashew nut tree some distance away from me.  This sister is a simple, village-bred person who did not fully understand my English-filled Tamil language.  The Lord helped me to learn a lot of mysteries from her, the wisdom, the command of words, right words in prayer and manifestation of Holy Spirit, and the humility seen in her ministry was amazing.

I could sight a peacock, the national bird of India, at a far distance about 2 kms from the place I was standing.  Otherwise, I could not spot any animals, but heard that herds of elephants sometimes visit the place and a tiger was also sighted at the premises though there was no harm to person or property.

The Lord was very gracious to make my journey very comfortable and enjoyed every bit of it, both to and fro.  I feel that such session of prayer was not enough and would like to have a similar one at my city God willing, at places like Scripture Union.

Thank you all for your prayers.  May God richly bless you!!

Then Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan River. He was led by the Spirit in the wilderness, where he was tempted by the devil for forty days. Jesus ate nothing all that time and became very hungry. Then Jesus returned to Galilee, filled with the Holy Spirit’s power. 16 When he came to the village of Nazareth, his boyhood home, he went as usual to the synagogue on the Sabbath and stood up to read the Scriptures. 17 The scroll of Isaiah the prophet was handed to him. He unrolled the scroll and found the place where this was written:
18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released,  that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, 19 and that the time of the Lord’s favor has come.”

Jesus, My Lord, be glorified!!

Under the Shed-Blood Of Jesus,
Shanta Daniel
